Homeowners ask us who to trust. We explain why you fit.

How it works

How a StartRight introduction works.

No charge until the homeowner approves the intro. Everything before that is review and fit-checking, not a billable introduction.

1

A homeowner asks for help

StartRight collects the project type, location, timing, budget range, photos, and basic details.

2

We check fit

We compare the project against your service area, project minimums, specialties, and current capacity.

3

The homeowner reviews the recommendation

They see why your company may fit before your contact information is shared.

4

Contact is shared and the fee applies

You pay only after the homeowner approves the introduction. An introduction is not a guaranteed job.

The good ones

We don't take every contractor. Here's the bar.

FAQ

Questions contractors ask first.

Short answers to the money, fit, and approval questions. The detailed pricing page has the longer examples.

When do I pay, and how much?

You pay only after the homeowner approves your specific introduction and contact information is shared. Published prices are based on project size. There is no subscription, no listing fee, and no charge to apply, get reviewed, or be considered.

Why is a StartRight introduction better than a lead?

A bought lead is usually a cold name and phone number. A StartRight introduction gives the homeowner fit context before your contact information is shared. You still have to win the job, but you enter the conversation with the project, constraints, and reason for fit already explained.

Is homeowner approval a guaranteed job?

No. It means the homeowner approved the introduction and agreed to receive your contact information. It does not guarantee they will respond, schedule, hire, or move forward.

Will the same homeowner go to multiple contractors?

Not as the standard process. StartRight starts with one recommended contractor and introduces others only if the homeowner specifically asks for more options.

Can I control my spend?

Yes. Approved contractors can set a monthly spending cap and pause new introductions from the contractor portal.

What if an introduction is wrong?

Contractors have 7 days to request a credit. StartRight reviews the issue so bad-fit introductions can be corrected.

Why we built this

Get in while the founding group is forming.

StartRight is just getting started here, and we are being honest about that. We would rather tell you we are early than pretend we have a pile of jobs waiting. What we do have is a clear model and a standard we are holding from day one: real fit checks, homeowner approval before any contact is shared, and no charge unless the homeowner says yes.

The contractors who join now are the founding group the network is built around. You get in before homeowners start coming through, at no cost and no commitment, so you are first in line when the projects start landing.
